Algarve Yes Property Rentals - Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all rentals of properties undertaken through Algarve-Yes Lda.
1.
All reservations for properties made through Algarve-Yes Lda. by clients must be made in writing by email or fax.
2.
Upon receipt of the reservation, and subject to availability, Algarve-Yes Lda. will send the client by email or fax a confirmation of the reservation. For purposes of speed, confirmations will not be sent by normal mail.
3.
The confirmation will include details of clients requirements as indicated in their original reservation form:
 
A complete list of names of Guests.

Total number of persons in group. Please note that when the client's party arrives, should there be any additional members, Algarve-Yes Lda. reserves the right to refuse admission to the property or to charge additional fees as per the relevant price list. In the event of such a situation occurring deposits already paid will be forfeited.

Directions to the offices of Algarve-Yes Property Rentals Lda.

Where applicable, instructions on how and where to collect their rental car at Faro Airport.

Instructions for transfer of deposit and other payments to the bankers of Algarve-Yes Lda.

Upon receipt of the afore-mentioned confirmation, clients will be required, with 7 calendar days, to transfer an initial deposit equivalent to a minimum of 20% of the total value of the rental for the period in question. Should this deposit payment not be received in the offices of our bankers within 7 calendar days, Algarve-Yes Lda., reserves the right to cancel the reservation and make the property available for rental by other potential clients.
5.
The balance of the payment for the rental shall be paid upon arrival at the offices of Algarve-Yes Lda. and prior to taking occupation of the property in question. Payment may be made in cash or travellers cheques.

Clients, if they wish, may transfer this outstanding amount direct to our bankers provided it arrives in our account at least 7 calendar days before their date of arrival.

In the event of clients having to cancel a booking, even owing to causes outside of their control, the initial deposit is, regrettably, not refundable, as administrative costs must be covered. Cancellations may be made by fax or e-mail to our office. Clients, who fail to arrive will be regarded as cancellations. Cancellation charges :

•  Up to 12 weeks forfeit of deposit

•  Up to 11 weeks before rental occupation – 80 % of confirmed price

•  Up to 4 weeks before rental occupation – 100% of confirmed price

•  Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail or fax to our office

•  The Algarve Yes Lda. reserves the right to cancel a booking. In such a case clients will be offered alternative accommodation of similar or superior standard, or a full refund of all deposits paid.The Algarve Yes Lda. cannot accept liability due to circumstances beyond its control amounting to major force i.e. civil strife, industrial action, riot, adverse weather conditions, failure of power, gas or water supplies, fire, natural or nuclear disasters, sickness, quarantine, threat of war, terrorist activities etc.

The costs of utilities, including electricity, gas and water, are included in the cost of rental, as is a final cleaning of the property at the end of the client's stay.
8.
Fresh towels and bed linen are provided at the beginning of the holiday and changed at the end of each week. Additional Maid Service is available upon request, if required, at an additional cost to the client of € 12,50 per hour.
9.
Algarve-Yes Lda. endeavours to ensure that their clients have a safe and enjoyable stay during their visit to the Algarve. However, Algarve-Yes Lda. cannot be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, theft or damages involving or caused by clients during their stay at one of our properties.
10.
In the event of problems with, damage to, or breakages of property, clients are kindly requested to immediately inform the offices of Algarve-Yes Lda.. This will enable us to ensure time rectification of problems and damage, thus minimising any inconvenience to all clients.
11.
In the event that substantial damage occurs on, or to a property, as a result of the inadvertent or deliberate action of clients, repair or rectification of such damage will be fully chargeable to the client's account. This does not include breakages of small items such as of glassware, crockery, and loss of cutlery.
12.
In the event that it is determined that grievous damage has been effected to a property with malicious intent by clients, Algarve-Yes Lda. reserves the right to request the clients to immediately vacate the property in question. In such an instance, no refund of any outstanding rental fees held will be made and, as indicated in item 11 above, clients will be held responsible for such damage.
13.
Algarve-Yes Lda. bears no responsibility in respect of any damages or inconvenience arising from building or other works or activities occurring on or adjacent to any properties occupied by clients.
14.

These terms and conditions are drafted within the context of the law of Portugal and any dispute arising there from will be referred for adjudication by the District Tribunal of Lagos within context of the law of Portugal.

Algarve Yes Lda. reserve the right to change the terms and conditions without notification.
